CSA Membership
CSA members have access to critical information and leaders to capitalize on opportunities and make informed decisions.
Benefits of CSA Membership
CSA membership offers a wide variety of benefits, but the most important is access to maritime-related knowledge and information. CSA members have access to information and knowledge not available to the general public, and through CSA, access to regulatory and environmental experts.
CSA members have the opportunity to engage in unified positions on issues of critical importance to the industry and the maritime sector. Click the thumbnails below to download our Membership Brochure, Annual Issues Report, and Annual Activities & Interactions Report.
Membership Levels
CSA membership is determined by the type of organization wishing to join. Shipowners, operators and charters fall under the full membership category, while entities with an interest in the operations of full members fall into the associate membership category.

CSA is proud to live up to the intent of the original founders.
We respond reactively to proposals, both legislative and regulatory, by the federal government and proactively respond to self-initiated issues developed by the members.
Current CSA Members
Our maritime members include U.S. based companies that own, operate or charter oceangoing tank, container, dry bulk vessels, roll-on/roll-off or special purpose vessels engaged in both the domestic and international trades and companies that maintain a commercial interest in the operation of such oceangoing vessels.
